Clearing Day - Sheep Mountain Complex

Its that time of year again for the Sheep Mountain Complex clearing! This will include clearing fallen trees from the Sheep Mountain, Mineral Peak, 1513, and East Fork trails. Plan for this to be an all-day affair, so bring enough water and snacks to tide you over. You do not need to be a certified sawyer to join us for this event, as it's nice to have support in removing cut logs from the trail or knocking back smaller plants/trees with hand tools (not to mention safety in numbers!). Bring your bike and riding gear, and enough water and snacks to last you the day. We'll grill in the parking lot afterwards!

While this event is open to everyone, we will be out riding all day on technical backcountry trails, and we encourage you to stay within your abilities.
