About the event

Update: work plan is to hike up to Jumbo Saddle and hand-cut new trail just above the saddle. We'll have pastries from Grist and coffee from Blackcoffee Roasting at the trailhead!

As you may have caught in our communications this winter, the City is re-working some of the trails around Jumbo Saddle to better address increased use in the area. Part of this is a re-route of the connection from the end of Sound of Music at Jumbo Saddle down to the Lincoln Hills trailhead. Join us to help them complete it!

The work will mainly consist of raking and shoveling dirt to smooth out the new sections of trail, as well as decommissioning old sections of trail, seeding, and transplanting bunchgrasses. Truly something for everyone.

No experience necessary, all welcome and tools provided. Bring gloves, water, a snack, and clothing suited for work (and the weather!)
